I had accidentally picked up "Moon's Fury" first--which is a wonderful, exciting, and well-written book.

Having said that--this one was just BAD. I really, really wanted to like this book because of "Moon's Fury," and I was really looking forward to having a new series to devour. But the characters were completely one dimensional and cliched. Tony is the "hitman with a heart of gold" who goes against everything that he believes in and holds as truth for a woman that he barely knows. Sue is weak, whiny, and can't do anything for herself. All the characters are black-and-white good-or-evil and there was absolutely no ambiguity in anyone's character.

Really, the book is just filled to the brim with cliches that made me really, really sad. I recommend skipping right to "Moon's Fury" as the characters actually have substance and the plot is infinitely more interesting.

Hunter Moon Tales of the Sazi Book 1 C T Adams Cathy Clamp 9780765349132 Books Reviews

just not my favorite type of story line. Really enjoyed Cat Adams stories of vampires etc. And her personality and humor she sets for the main characters is wonderful.
I haired it was a grait book so I got it to see and I love it, Now all I need are the other ones to complete the collation.
Love the rich descriptions in this action packed love story. Very unique.
A very surprising book. I thoroughly enjoyed the use of the sense of smell within it. I’m used to descriptions of scenery, but this book uses the nose to describe more than the eyes. What people smell like, what emotions smell like. Absolutely terrific, a great read!
I have read this book and series many times. It is always good. I have faith you will too! O
I'm a sucker for werewolves. And Tony was a superbly written character. Sure, the lead female, Sue, who becomes his mate is kind of a whiner, but for some reason I think she is a redeemable whiner. I think that is what the wolf sees in her too. Plus, the whole concept of mating and bonding, while not novel, is strangely stirring in Hunter's Moon.
Tony Gidone is a werewolf. He is also a hitman. He hit on the wrong lady and when she bit him he became a werewolf about a year ago. Life has been alittle weird since then, but Tony is nothing if not flexible and he has managed quite well.

Sue Quentin has the kind of trouble we would all like. She has won 268 million dollars in the lotto. Now her life has gone to the pits. She feels her only way to get out of her problems is to hire a hitman. It must be bad for her to want to die. Who does she pick but Tony.

Tony might be a hitman but he doesn't feel Sue needs his services. With a lot of black humor and a little male instinct he convinces her to give it one more year and then he would do the job.

Meanwhile Sue finds her hitman to be the first one to ever understand her. Tony finds himself attracted to the first woman who has wanted him to kill her. The electricity and sexual tension is scary to a man devoted to him profession. Sue's family, from her hypocondriac drunken druggy mother, to her suave self-centered syblings, puts the dis in disfunctyonal.

Written from Tony's view point, this is a great read I couldn't put it down. Tony works for the mob and when other want to be hitmen get in the picture it goes from bad to worse. I was so tired of the recent deluge of werewolf stories, I had decided not to read anymore. Now I can't wait for the next one to come out. C T Adams and Cathy Clamp have a winner on their hands.
